You need JavaScript enabled to view it . A possible clue is that the LP in one of the photos is Cricklewood Green, an album by blues rock band Ten Years After, released in 1970.

100 years ago, World War I broke out. Many Hiltonians were involved in the conflict, and sadly a large number lost their lives in the brutal warfare that characterised this "modern" war. Old Hiltonian Sean Conway is the first person to swim the length of Britain from Land's Ends to John O'Groats via Ireland.  His adventure took four and a half months and his feat has been documented in many UK newspapers as well as TV.

On Tuesday, 5 November, the annual golf clash for the Chapman Cup between the Old Boys of Hilton and Michaelhouse took place at Mount Edgecombe Country Club.  It was a very closely contested match and Hilton Captain Peter Taylor (Ellis '84) was delighted to have retained the trophy for the Old Hiltonians.
