Term 1: Newsletter 5
Newboys' Sunday Activity

“Think where man’s glory most begins and ends,
And say my glory was I had such friends.”

W B Yeats

Dear McKenzie Parents

On the first Sunday of each term the new boys are involved in an activity where the theme is about building team spirit. Today (Sunday) they ran to the Wings Dam, then swam around the island at the dam, and thereafter built a raft where they had to transport one of their matrics to the other side of the dam. On the run to the dam from school, they had to put together a song which was sung when they arrived at the dam. It was great fun and I was very pleased and proud of our boys. In addition, the Head of School accompanied all the new boys who are in Form II and III and they also participated as a group. It is always a great event where they have to work together as a team and our McKenzie new boys did just that.

To all our new boy parents, they will be phoning you on Friday, and I am sure you cannot wait to hear from them. As you can see in these pictures they are well and getting to know one another as a group. We are very proud of them and they have made a great start to their Hilton careers!

Regards

Paul
