Newboys' Arrival

Dear McKenzie Parents

It is always a special day when new parents arrive with their boys for the start of the family’s association with this great school. This year was no exception and we have a young group of boys who will follow in the footsteps of many fine McKenzie boys. I have no doubt they will bring something special to the House. We look forward to getting to know them and I am sure the McKenzie family will embrace them.

The quietness in the House has been replaced by excited young adolescents keen to see their mates again. It was wonderful to welcome back the rest of the House on Tuesday evening and there certainly was a buzz around the place. To see the joy and happiness on boys’ faces when they see their friends again is wonderful and re-inforces the special bond between the boys which they call “brotherhood”. It once again brings home what a special place this is!
