“Get involved in everything you’ve
dreamed of doing.” Dear McKenzie Family We have had a few special events over this past week. For those of you who were fortunate to attend the school production of “Grease” I am sure you would agree it was an outstanding show. It was wonderful to see so many boys and girls on the stage. We had a number of McKenzie boys involved, but a particular word of congratulations to Andrew Giliam and Daniel Nambassi, who were superb. After watching the show on Wednesday night, I left the theatre feeling good about the school and our boys. On returning to the House after the show, there was a real buzz about the place, and we all felt a sense pride and enjoyment. It is on occasions like this that one feels a real sense of passion for this great school.
On Saturday we had a wonderful day playing against our rivals and friends Michaelhouse. The hockey and rugby was played in a wonderful spirit. A person who has not been to “the big match” before, commented on the wonderful camaraderie and spirit, between the fiercely competitive rivals. We must always bare this in mind, as this is what ultimately counts, the wonderful friendship which we share between the schools. Well done to all our teams who acquitted themselves admirably.
Half-term is nearly upon us so please send
through your transport arrangements for those boys who will be flying so
we can arrange the necessary transport to the airport. |
