Valentine's Day/Gala
“Love means never having to say your
sorry.”
Erich Segal
Dear McKenzie Family
I hope you have enjoyed half-term with your sons and that they have had
the opportunity to relax and recharge their batteries.
Last Thursday was Valentines Day and there was much excitement around
the House as flowers and gifts are handed out at a special ceremony on
Wednesday evening. If anyone is in doubt about our boys being able to
charm the fairer sex, then have no fear, because judging by the number
of flowers which were delivered to the House, they do not seem to have
any problem in this regard.
The Swimming Championship Gala took place on Thursday morning and
although McKenzie is not blessed with many swimmers our boys had a good
showing. Congratulations to John Peverelle who won the U 15 Victor
Ludorum. This Friday evening is the Swimming Relay Gala, and it is much
more fun, as there are more boys involved.
Congratulations to the following boys on their appointments:
- Hollerith Society Chairman :Dave Shorten
- Business Club Matthew van Asche (Chairman) and Andrew Forsyth-Thompson
(Committee member)
- Christian Fellowship Society Co-Chairman : Andrew Giliam
Our McKenzie Golf Day is only a few weeks away, so if you have not
booked please do so as soon as possible, so we can finalize our field:
