Falcon House Newsletter No 5, 2008 Form 1 Activity

On the 20th the form 1’s gathered for their quarterly activity day. Being the first of the year, the boys had to complete tasks such as running, swimming, building a human pyramid as well as a raft, and rafting across Deeside dam. Like most things at this time of the year, one could sense the apprehension as well as the excitement among the boys. To their credit, they were not intimidated by the magnitudes of their tasks at hand. With the guidance of the matrics they completed all the tasks competently. A great deal of encouragement and motivation was given by everyone and the boys bonded quite superbly. The whole aim of the day was to build team spirit and bring the boys together – something which was brilliantly achieved. We’d like to thank Mr. Shuttleworth for organising the activities as well as the staff members who showed their support. We’d also like to congratulate all the new boys for their effort and the attitude they showed.
