Falcon House Newsletter No 28, 2008 Inter House Quiz “Try Outs”

On Thursday (17th of April) Falcon house chose 8 candidates to represent them in the inter house quiz “try outs”. The quiz is designed to challenge the general knowledge of each of the candidates and also the audience viewing them. It has the same layout as the Weakest Link, as the rounds progress a candidate is voted off and the time per round is reduced. The point system works in a chain, the more answers you get in a row the higher the points are, however, if the chain is broken all the points are lost. Candidates are allowed to keep points by “banking” them and thus the chain starts again.

The 8 candidates were: Oyama, Ryall, Chris, Nuete, K, Lalor, Eathon and Lambert

Oyama accepts the challenge

Nuete is so so confused

Chris gets away with guessing

No one is really certain

Nuete is voted of first!

K is just not worth enough

Eathon cannot out run this one

Lalor cannot handle the pressure

Lambert is better off playing games on his PC

Chris’s guessing has worn out

Naidoo and Balfour compete to see who the better man is

Naidoo won the quiz over all and had to choose a team of 3 to represent the house for the Inter House Quiz taking place in the 4th term. He, Oyama and Chris will lead the house into the unknown, starting off with the 560 points they help gain.
