Falcon House Newsletter No 12, 2008 Charity Appeal

“Last year we made a promise that we could not keep. A half made promise is as good as a broken one. As falcon House we promised that we would adopt a child from Slangspruit home. Now imagine if you're that child waiting for the reps of this empty promise. Something must be done about it”

Falcon House praises itself to be a caring house, where everyone gets along well with each other and the vibe in the house always high. Sadly we have become lost in this bubble of buoyancy and joy; our sense of caring for those less privileged than us suffering most. Last year our then Housemaster Mr Gavin Thompson pleaded with the house to raise the money needed to adopt a child at Slangspruit. By adopt meaning provide him with food and education for a year. We managed to raise R 875,00 which is half the money required. We The Falcon House Charity Committee are now pleading with you, parents of the boys in Falcon, to help us fulfill this promise. Your sons’ got us halfway there.
