The Matric Dance:
A Highlight on our Matric Boys’ Calendar

On Saturday evening, 26 April, Kath and I, with invaluable help from Cheryl, hosted the matric boys, their dance partners and their parents to pre-dance refreshments at our home. The event is always a highlight for the parents as they check out how well the boys managed to scrub up. After a tough yet very successful day of rugby some looked a little worse for wear but all would agree the boys know how to ‘turn it on’ when needed. The girls, as usual, looked beautiful and after having to ‘walk the gauntlet’ where faced with the twins who love to see the princesses all dressed up. This is a fun and relaxing opening to the dance and an opportunity for lots of photos and banter. The attached photos are courtesy of Don Schorn.
