Opening of New Pearce House

The building of a new Pearce House was made possible by a very generous benefaction provided by Mr Mike Barnes. The Chairman of the Board, Mr John Hodgson, praised not only Mike's wonderful contribution, but also the excellent work done by the entire team to make it possible: the building contractors, architect and project managers.

Headmaster, Mike Nicholson, spoke about the way the new building embodies the latest ideas in boarding.

Mike Barnes spoke about the importance of Hilton to his family, and how this act of benefaction is to be seen in that light.

Fr Kevin Robertson, Chaplain and Housemaster of Pearce, prayed a blessing on the house.

Faisal Wando, Head of Pearce House, spoke on behalf of the boys, thanking all concerned for the great opportunity. The matrics then led the boys into their new home.
