Matric Results 2007

The 2007 matric results were once again very good and our congratulations to all our 2007 matric boys. There were no major surprises.

Our particular congratulations go to Christian Callender-Easby who was placed in the IEB Top 50 nationally. Christian got 8 distinctions.

  • There were no failures, which make 11 years with no failures.

  • 96, 6% of the boys who wrote achieved an Endorsement which is necessary if they are to go to a South African university.

  • Only 4 boys out of the 116 achieved a Senior Certificate.

  • 26, 8% of those who achieved an Endorsement got an 'A' aggregate (i.e. 30 boys).

  • There were 168 subject distinctions.

  • 70% of all subjects taken at Higher Grade (653 subjects) realised a mark of 60% or more.

  • 44,7% realised a mark of 70% or more.
