Each Thursday at 7.25 is chapel. This
year, the singing in the chapel has been very good and it is always
uplifting when the boys sing with such gusto.

Chapel on Thursday morning
At 8 am each Thursday I have a meeting with our House Manager, Mrs
Bonorchis, to check various matters in the House particularly those
related to maintenance and the fabric of the House. We take a walk
around the dormitories and they are all very neat and tidy, except
for one boy who has not locked his bottom locker!
At 8.30 am I have a meeting with Mr Ralph Taiden our KKS Manager and
Mrs Suzie Beveridge to discuss various menu options for the Servant
Leadership Gala Dinner.
I plan to play 9 holes of golf at the end of the teaching day with
two colleagues. However the weather decides otherwise. A boy has
been dropped from his team and I have noticed that he has been
looking a little unhappy over the last day or so. I call him to my
study before supper and we chat about how things are going and he
tells me he is not dealing with being dropped very well. I reassure
him that I am certain he will bounce back. I also remind him of the
smile which has disappeared and this brings a smile to his face.
