A relaxing day watching the Proteas go
down, once again to the Aussies, as well as a fantastic win for
Scotland over France in the Six Nations. Chapel service is at 7pm
and this evening it is a Taize service which is always enjoyable as
it gives one time to reflect. After chapel I complete seeing
individually the remainder of the Form II boys who I had not seen
last week.

Adam Duxbury (Form II) having a
chat
I enjoy talking to boys about how things are going and
getting their opinion on various House matters. I believe that each
boy wants to have time to chat with me. I am always amazed as I work
through seeing each boy in the year group that if I have not seen
all of them in the same evening, they ask me when I am in the House,
about when they will be coming to see me. After seeing the last four
of five boys in Form II I have a few parents to phone about various
matters.

A well-organised desk - the secret
of success!
As I am doing this I am delighted to receive from one of
the boy’s parents four lovely ladies’ watches as prizes for our Golf
Day. Tim van Asche and Dean Hildebrand are organizing the day and we
have a quick meeting to see where we are at this stage. They seem to
be well organized and our Golf Day is on track. After the movie on
television the matric on duty reports to me that everyone is in bed.
I have a quick cup of tea before heading to bed.
