Another grey day! Teaching at 7am has
never been the highlight of my week and I dare say neither for the
boys too. I am teaching Form V and I hand back a test they wrote on
Friday. The majority have done pretty well although those who have
not done well seem pre-occupied with an 18th birthday party which is
taking place tonight!

The Grey morning...
Most cricket games are cancelled and unfortunately my team the u 14
A is one of them. However it is a good opportunity for many of us to
watch the 1st XI. They play well and have a convincing win over St
Charles. There is a nice crowd watching around the Jack Hart-Davis
Oval with many families having picnics.
In the evening, there is great excitement, for the choir boys who
have a Valentine’s evening at the Club as well as those who are
going to the Epworth Social. Obviously we have some Romeo’s in Form
I group as they have only been here for 4 weeks and they are going
to their first social! The boys who have gone to the social return
after 11pm and the matric on duty reports that all boys have been
accounted for.
It has been another full week with a lot of activity. It is quite
unbelievable to think that half-term is just round the corner. |
