| Primož
Malavasič Primož (as everyone got to know him, because we could not pronounce his surname) joined the Hilton College International Choir for a week of intense rehearsing in preparation for the Choir Olympics to be held later in the year. We were working on a Slovenian song by composer Vinko Vodopivec, entitled Žabe (Frogs). Mr. Dippenaar first encountered Primož, and the song, when Musica Corde toured to Prague to participate in the Advent Competition there. Mr. Malavasič was crowned as best conductor at that competition, an accolade he surely deserves. |

| A lot of time was spent on pronouncing those funny characters, and making sure we are not saying things that we do not intend to say. We were taught to make e's more like i's, c more like ch, how to say š and ž and many other problematic tongue twisters. |

| After four hard
rehearsals we feel much more in control of the Slovenian language, and
were enjoying ourselves very much, as it is a lively song about two
frogs getting married.
Thank you Primož! |
