PARENTAL
INVOLVEMENT
We encourage
parents to come and watch their son play sport on Saturdays. If you wish to
book a picnic basket or lunch, please contact the Fleur-de-Lys Club on Tel:
033 3480000 or email
fleur@hiltoncollege.com
We are always pleased to welcome parents and friends to Sunday Chapel services,
and these are detailed on our
Term
Calendar.
Weekday visits may be made only if the boy's Housemaster has been notified in advance.
Another feature of the school is the Hilton Sunday when the Junior boys go out onto the Estate after morning Chapel and breakfast, to spend the day out of doors, relaxing with their friends and enjoying the Estate. Parents are welcome to walk/picnic on the Estate with their son on a Sunday but the Housemaster should be notified. This is not an open invitation to visit your son every Sunday. It is important to realise that your son does need time with his friends. Sundays are good days to establish relationships and make friends, so we suggest you do not make a habit of visiting your son on Sundays, especially to begin with.
E-NEWS
AND WEBSITE
Parents are encouraged
to make use of these facilities. We have tried to make the website user friendly
and you will find it useful to look at QuickLinks. The website
is updated regularly and contains news and photographs of current events. The
Term
Calendar
is accessible on the website.
E-News is sent to all parents on Mondays during term time. This is our weekly
communication with you, the parents. It contains sport results, current events,
school notices and a host of other useful information. Sports Team Lists are
sent to parents on Friday afternoons during term time. Contact Mr Andy Wood
on agw@hiltoncollege.com for
all E-News queries.
Your son will be given his own personal email address for you to communicate directly with him.
