Dear Parents

The Hilton/Michaelhouse weekend proved to be a great success. A great deal of credit must be given to the organiser, Mr PK Ramnarain, and his assistant, Mr A Lewis, for this. These types of events take an enormous effort and a great burden is placed on our contractors: Broll (maintenance); Spectrum Services (cleaning); Enforce (security); and KKS (catering). They always respond magnificently and ensure that the weekend runs smoothly. This year was no exception.

The sports fixtures took place in magnificent weather and the boys really played their part in ensuring that the spectators had much to cheer about. As it turned out, Hilton won more than their fair share of the games. Most importantly, the level of sportsmanship on display was above reproach and it was fantastic to see the level of camaraderie, both on and off the field.

Thank you to all the parents who attended the Parents' Day on Friday. A reminder to all parents who live within 125kms of the school that there is a Parents Day for you on Thursday 15 May from 08h45 to 11h00.

We look forward to hosting 'Funk' over the next week and to the performance of our dance troupe, in particular. Saturday we host DHS - I hope that all our supporters will return to support our boys in this fixture as well.
