Mrs Lynne McMillan has been appointed  as Deputy Head with effect from 01 January 2008, but she will continue as Director of Academic Studies.

Mr Gavin Thomson has been appointed as Director of Academic Administration with effect from 01 January 2008, and he will therefore no longer be Housemaster of Falcon House.

OLD HILTONIANS GET TOGETHER FOR GOLF, DINNER & FUN
 
On Friday 15 June a group of Old Hiltonians gathered at the Victoria Country Club for a game of golf and enjoyed a splendid dinner in the evening.

HILTON COLLEGE BUSINESS TOUR TO CHINA

On Friday 22 June 20 Hilton boys left for China.  The trip was the inspiration of Accountancy teacher Anne Kriel who recognised the importance of this country in future global economics.  Click here to read about their exciting trip and itinerary.

NEW PEARCE

The new Pearce House, gift to Hilton of Old Boy, Mike Barnes, is now fully functional.  Earlier this term, following the official opening at which Mike challenged the boys to grasp fully the opportunities Hilton provided them, 81 Pearce boys moved into their new home.  In thanking Mike Barnes, on behalf of the boys, Head of House Faizal Wando explained that he hoped that they would be able to move without being accompanied by the ghost of Archie.

ESTATE COMMUNITY RESIDENTS

Old Boys will know that for some time it has been the Board’s intention to relocate the Estate residents to a sight on the perimeter of the property, in the vicinity of the dairy. This proposal having been rejected on environmental grounds, which included the site being too far from services and amenities, there has been a change of plan.

The Chairman of the Board, John Hodgson, has secured funding for an upgrade to the Memorial Hall which will render it an outstanding venue for music performances.
