Congratulations to Mark Hull, Tristan Baynes, Nick Beal and Jono Smithers on being selected to represent Kwazulu-Natal at the National Eskom Expo for Young Scientists to be held during the first week of October in Johannesburg.

Following a successful Hilton College Science Expo 33 boys, presenting 21 projects, were entered for the Provincial Eskom Expo for Young Scientists held in Durban recently. The Hilton College contingent performed impressively and we were awarded 11 Bronze, 6 Silver and 1 Gold award for the project.

The three selected projects are:

Mark Hull and Tristan Baynes achieved Gold Award for their project titled "Distraction versus Concentration".

Nick Beal achieved Silver Award for his project titled "Factors affecting Resin".

JonoSmithers achieved Silver Award for his project titled "Compare sustain between hollow and solid body guitar"
