Peter de Lisle: Visual, Online and Collaborative Tools
Visual, Online, Collaborative
1: Outlining
- The importance of a STRUCTURE of IDEAS vs LINEAR TEXT
- Use Word Outline View to create text with structure
- Use Inspiration to visualise text structure
- Note the portability of an outline: Inspiration to PowerPoint; Word to PowerPoint; etc
- Note the usefulness of text structure: for formatting and Table of Contents
2: Collaboration
- Register on www.mywebspiration.com and launch the program
- Load a template sent to you via someone else on webspiration, or upload an Inspiration file
- Invite someone to collaborate with you.
- Google Docs is also a great way to collaborate. Create an account using your existing email account (gmail or any other), then create, save and share documents online.
