At the Final Assembly the Forsyth-Thompson Trophy is awarded to the most valuable member of the 1st XI Cricket and 1st XV Rugby teams as voted for by the 1st XI and 1st XV.  This year's recipient was Kieran Hayne.

Last term the Hilton College Art Students held an art auction to raise awareness and funds for The Lunchbox Fund.  The success of this auction was made possible by the collaborative work of Ms Salamon, Mrs Veenstra, Chizembi Sakulanda (Grade 9) from the Art Department, Mrs Su Huggett, the Hilton Arts Festival Administrator and Mrs Koopman who is in charge of Community Service.

Mr Hedley Lewis from the Smile Foundation attended the Final Assembly.  Tom Webber, Tlhogi Dube and Chris Trenchard organized this year’s Hilton Michaelhouse T-shirt charity initative and raised R40 000,00 for the Smile Foundation.

The Leavers' Chapel Service for the Matric Class of 2014 took place on Sunday evening, 16 November.  The Chapel is the place where their Hilton College careers started, so it was fitting that their final official function was also in the Chapel.  Klein Strydom delivered a thought-provoking and emotional address.  It is tradition for each Matric to receive his Leaver's bible from the Headmaster.  It was a moving service as it signalled the end of their 5 year journey at Hilton College.
